Guest Speaker: Mr Anthony Chan
Main Topic: Coffee Hive's Journey
Anthony is the chairman and founder of the Coffee Hive cafe chain. Started in 2012 as a humble cafe in Robinson Road, Coffee Hive has now grown to 8 outlets. He will share with you his entrepreneurship journey and why he chose franchising as one of his growth strategy for his company.
About Anthony Chan:
Mr Anthony was a regional sales manager in semiconductor. He was doing well in corporate and was highly sought after in his field. Although a high flyer, Anthony still felt that something was missing. He felt that he was not stretching enough and there's more to life than just it. Then his company downsized its operations in Singapore and he saw his colleagues in their 40s retrenched. Although he was not affected, that was when he decided to take control of his own destiny and strike out on his own. He has tried multiple businesses before he found the winning formula and started Coffee Hive with 3 other friends. From then on, they just consistently replicate their winning formula, one cafe at a time, to what you see today.
